Missional Community Pathways
There are four pathways within the Missional Community and we would ask you to
prayerfully consider which pathway best meets your own circumstances and/or
vocational call. The four pathways are:
Commissioned members are Evangelists who have had their call recognised and been
selected and formally trained by Threshold Ministries. They are then commissioned and
admitted into the Office of Evangelist. They retain their commission whilst they do the
work of an Evangelist, are involved in the life of the Threshold Ministries Community,
live by the Rule of Life and ascribe to the ethos of Threshold Ministries.
Covenanted members are Evangelists who have not been formally trained by Threshold
Ministries but are supported, helped and guided by being in relationship with Threshold
Ministries. They do the work of an Evangelist, are involved in the life of Threshold
Ministries Community, live by the Rule of Life and ascribe to the ethos of Threshold
Co-worker members are people who work for or alongside Threshold Ministries and/or
its Evangelists, whether in a voluntary or paid capacity, but are not themselves
evangelists. They fully ascribe to the values and vision of TM and their work enables the
evangelism to take place. They will make promises, be committed to the community and
Live by the Rule of Life.
Companion members are those who are not Evangelists but ascribe to our values and
vision. They support the ministry through prayer, giving and/or practical help and would
find benefit in being members of our community. Vital to the health of Threshold
Ministries they are involved in the life of the Community and Live by the Rule of Life.
